Inception : our Association was established in 2006 in Jordan-Amman by a council included nine women ,and formed three committees (cultural, social, media) , it contributed in serving Syrian woman as a mother, a daughter, a wife and a student through establishing a developing and a productive projects. Many of Syrian women in various parts of the world joined the organization, so there were the Syrian Women Association in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Sudan and Sweden, and now in Turkey and Syria. Our vision : Conscious woman virtuous teacher enjoys a healthy safe society . Our principles : Participatory work, commitment, perfection, respect for the other, transparency . Our goals : 1- Work to make Syrian Women Association the first institution in Syria that can meet the needs of women . 2- Promote the moral and virtuous values in society 3- Identify the problems of Syrian women and strive to find solutions 4- Prepare and train Syrian women to play their role in building the family and society and work to empower women in economic and social fields 5- cooperate and coordinate with other Syrian , Arab and international organizations and associations working in the same field .
