In New Zealand Cadbury's chocolate shifted offshore and it is now waxy, oily and full of sugar. They keep changing the recipe to cheaper ingredients and increasing prices as they reduce sizes. We no longer buy this inferior product. There are better quality and better value alternatives locally. Our favourite is Whittaker's Chocolate, made in NZ.

I am a chocoholic and someone bought me Milk Tray for my birthday. For the first time in my 64 years, I am going to put chocolate in the bin. I can't even bear to hand the uneaten items on to anyone else because it would be an insult to them. So sad.

Grim cheap nasty chocolate. It’s like chewing on wax. I used to really like it, but it’s gross. We also as a family avoid palm oil and I didn’t think it used to contain palm oil. Anyway, we threw it in the bin and got Tony’s instead. Tony’s seems to taste more like the original Cadbury chocolate from many many many years ago. Cadburys is dead to us now.
