For some reason when entering pret-a-manger's UK address into Trustpilot it comes up with the title Pret-a-manger USA. This review is of the UK stores.I've been using Pret for years. They're value for money range of (truly) fresh sandwiches, salads and soups filled a much needed gap in the High Street when they first appeared in major cities in the UK. I like the company ethos, organics and the use of fresh ingredients.Whilst I like the improvements to the store environments and the range of foods and drinks they offer, I think they've become overpriced since the company make-over. It's apparent that the customers are paying for the shop refits and the prices, for me, have gone over the affordability threshold for everyday lunches. It's back to stodgy bakeries and homemade lunches for me I'm afraid.

I go to Pret a Manger weekly. They serve great coffee and snacks. Service is always friendly and fast. I would recommend Pret to anyone.

Can't make a cup of Tea and serving uncooked food... even if the food reaches the counter uncooked, why is it being served to customers. I will up load the picture if I'm able.

Corner of Cannon St London (opposite BR station) on 5/09 at 11.15am. The customers tend to leave the toilets in a sorry state of affairs (and they work on the city!!) . I was distressed as I had a job interview and prepare at PAM Cannon St.I was stressed and and told manager on duty that morning of state of loos. And he apologised and would sort it out. Swiftly sorted. I went elsewhere to use loo and return to this particular PAM as he listened and swiftly took action.I like this PAM. Nice one. And you really listen when I like my white tea a certain way and you make the best almond croissants. Thank you.

Just been served by the one-handed master at Kings Cross. Seems his other hand and attention were focused on his phone call - not cool...

Tried the new Pret in my town last week and had a disappointing experience to be honest. Ordered a hot wrap (avocado, cheddar and tomato) and I bit into something very hard - like a piece of grit or a stone or something. At first I thought with horror that it was my tooth, but it wasn't. I called a member of staff over discreetly and gave her the offending item. She said oh dear, that's not good. And was looking like she wasn't going to do anything more. I said wasn't she going to tell the manager or something because that shouldn't be in something as benign as that wrap. She then proceeded to drop the bit and just shrugged her shoulders. I said I wasn't going to eat the rest of the wrap and it was only then that she offered to give me a free dessert, another lunch or both. I just accepted another sandwich and was happy with that and left, but it was a very lack lustre response when I could have broken my tooth on it and it could have been far worse!

The food here is actually ok but the prices are nothing short of extortionate, the quality is nowhere near the price. Then you get to the counter and they charge you extra to sit in, no other sandwich bar does this and it's not like these shops are that nice. Hard seats and a table with a lack of space.I'd avoid and go elsewhere

I'm writing this for Pret a Manger UK but only able to find Pret USA on Trustpilot. Simply put, this brand astonishes me! How well the company manages to deliver its values and use its shops to promote great customer service and belief in humanity - as well as helping feed the poor across London with all their leftovers. Pret a Manger is a great brand and one which is leading the way in terms of helping big business to earn the right to be trusted. Thank you Pret and keep up the great work!
