Amwaj of the Environment is a Lebanese environmental NGO that began its activities at its first Environment in Lebanon conference on 1 July 1995. It is dedicated to the protection and sustainable use of Lebanon's biodiversity and to the creation of public green spaces, and works on environmental awareness and coastal and marine conservation. It is a member of the Lebanese Environment Forum and regional Mediterranean environmental networks.
