Empretec Jordan is a program established in 2002 under the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), operating with UNDP oversight and in association with Jordan's Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation. It promotes sustainable small and medium enterprises by providing training workshops and technical support to promising entrepreneurs. The Empretec Jordan Club, founded in August 2005 by workshop graduates, maintains a network and database to sustain cooperation among program alumni.
