The Federation of Women Lawyers Lesotho (FIDA) is a non-profit, non-partisan membership organisation that provides legal advice and information on the rights of women and children. Established in 1988 by a group of women lawyers and re-registered in 2006, its work spans land and property claims, domestic violence, women's empowerment and children's rights, and it has contributed to legislative reforms such as the Legal Capacity of Married Persons Act. In 2022 it received a special mention in the French Republic's Human Rights Prize for its work protecting women textile workers from trafficking and exploitation.
