Our mission is to develop school communities in Puerto Rico through Montessori pedagogy in an effort to achieve accessible, high-quality education. Our vision is to be a leader in the transformation of education in Puerto Rico by creating learning spaces and educational policies that enable children and young people to reach their full potential. Guided by this mission and vision, Instituto Nueva Escuela prepares and supports educators, strengthens public school communities, engages families, and cultivates environments rooted in peace, dignity, and equity. We work so that every child-regardless of background-can learn with purpose, grow with confidence, and access the opportunities needed to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
