食品ロスと貧困問題の同時解決を目指しています。 食品ロスを減らすために事業系のロスに対して積極的な買取り、寄贈引き受けを行っております。※直接的なロス削減。 一般（家庭）のロスに対しては、食の知識を広める啓発活動を行うことにより、今まで知らずに捨ててしまっていた食品を減らしています。※間接的なロス削減 啓発の場は、講演、学校・メディアへの取材対応、SNS発信、極め付きは食品ロス削減ショップecoeat来客者への説明となっております。 食品ロスの事業系に関しては、「余って困っている」。一方でこの日本でも食べ物が無くて困っている方々沢山いらっしゃいます。この不条理をただすため、食品ロス食材を生活困窮者支援で最大限活用しています。 また、新しい意味での「地産地消」を目指し、地域で余っている物を同地域で無くて困っている人達へお届けするための「食品ロスゼロ！貧困ゼロ！」のモデル地域作るべく自治体とも連携しその範囲の拡大を努め、日本国内全域及び世界へその仕組みが広がれば、人に地球に優しい世界へとつながる未来になると信じております。 NPO日本もったいない食品センター　代表理事　高津博司
