Heritage will thus be able to shed its negative image of financial burden and transform itself into a source of investment and wealth creation, thus contributing effectively to the economic development of the country. Safeguarding and protecting heritage is indeed a matter for everyone, Tunisian citizens, political power and civil society. It is a heritage we have received from the past and it is our duty to pass it on to future generations.
