It is not only a question of restoring and maintaining historic monuments, but also of promoting investments linked to heritage with an economic approach. Heritage will thus be able to shed its negative image of financial burden and transform itself into a source of investment and wealth creation, thus contributing effectively to the economic development of the country. Safeguarding and protecting heritage is indeed a matter for everyone, Tunisian citizens, political power and civil society. It is a heritage we have received from the past and it is our duty to pass it on to future generations.
