We are therefore committed to the protection of people from ‘all forms of physical or mental violence, injury and abuse, neglect or negligent treatment, maltreatment or exploitation, including sexual violence’ as outlined in Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Article 48/104 of the Declaration of the Elimination of Violence against Women.
