A MAGICAL EARLY EVENING'S ENTERTAINMENT!

This place is a real treasure! The museum is in the attic of the old church of St Thomas' Hospital and is fascinating. It offers a extraordinary insight into the history of surgery and medicine: there's so much to see and learn. The visit was coordinated by Monica Ann Walker, the Marketing and Events Manager, and Karen Howell, the Curator. We had an excellent presentation of the history of the place and a talk about Victorian Surgery from Monica and she and Karen made it all very welcoming and inclusive. It was topped off with a really enjoyable 40 mins of acoustic music from the artist Jay Johnson in the operating theatre itself. A magical two hours or so!!! Thank you to all concerned!!

Definitely worth visiting

Such an interesting place to visit, and the owner let us stay a bit later (because we took too long reading some of the information). Great thing to book and so worth the price! Thanks for letting us visit
