Phnom Penh Center for Independent Living (PPCIL) is Cambodia's first independent living organization, established in 2009. It serves people with severe disabilities through vocational training, assistive devices, personal assistant services, and peer counseling to support independent life in the community.
To empower people with severe disabilities to live independently by providing basic education and vocational training and assisting in identifying housing units and employment opportunities.
PPCIL is the first independent-living movement organization in Cambodia, established as a non-governmental organization in September 2009.
