We want to bring hope and healing to the estimated 60,000 girls and women that are working in the sex industry in Pattaya, Thailand. Tamar's heart is to provide the girls with an alternative to the often-devastating job as a bar girl (sex-worker). To achieve this goal of a new life, we deploy various activities to help every step of their way. While they are still in the bar, we reach out through bar outreach, banquet parties, pregnancy counseling, inexpensive beauty services, and English class. And when they leave the bar, we provide housing, a job, and child-care.
