We got married at the Groundlings a few weeks ago. The day was lovely however we have lost our security deposit from our caterer as the incompetence of the staff there has meant not everything has been returned to her. Also the correspondence while trying to sort it all out has not been very friendly. They have accused the caterer of lying and also our guests of stealing the items. We struggled to find a caterer who would work at the groundlings as it is blacklisted among wedding caterers in the area. We now know why. The wedding organiser has even left because of how badly the place is run.

What an amazing building. It has radically improved since the last time I visited the building. The new owners have vastly improved the interior to give it a sleak, modern look. In previous times, I visited the building and I could compare it to a building site but as the "Trust" has taken over the operation of the building then I would like to congratulate them for taking on a mammoth task of renovations and improvements. I am glad that those who are looking after the building now is actually spending time and money to rebuild Groundlings up from the ashes. The previous owner did run the company into the ground and was on the verge of burning it alive. I have no clue what his intentions were but there was no way he cared for the building. Well done Groundlings Trust for raising the pheonix from out of the ashes.
