The National Centre for Human Rights (NCHR) is Jordan's principal independent institution dedicated to the promotion and protection of human rights in the country. Based in Amman, the centre monitors human rights conditions, receives complaints from citizens, and engages with government bodies to recommend legal and policy reforms. It also conducts public education campaigns and represents Jordan in regional and international human rights forums.
