Had a lovely lunch at the Whitaker on Sunday.It is great value and food is delicious .Lunch and views second to none.Also we visited the shop which has some great cards and gifts etc.We bought a book .

The exhibitions are really well curated: plenty to see but not too overwhelming. The whole place is well laid out and child and wheelchair friendly with a general feeling of space. The café has an imaginative menu and is very reasonable priced. It’s the sort of venue you want to return to because you feel comfortable there. A stroll round the delightful gardens afterwards is a must.

Great value exceptional lunch, good atmosphere, relaxed and welcoming. Gardens around venue great. Museum & park look to be busier than in previous years. Well done on upgrade / refurbishment.
