Ordered 15 yew saplings direct from Woodland Trust and they arrived promptly well packaged and very healthy. Excellent for the price and great service. I can highly recommend them if you are looking for native plants or trees based upon my experience to date.

Ordered 1 tree. A hazel tree. Fairly cheap for a 2 year old sapling. It arrived well packaged and healthy.

A weeping willow in my garden recently died together with an adjacent shrub. This created room for a new tree. After considering the options on the woodland trust website, I purchase a hawthorn tree sapling from the woodland trust shop at a very reasonable price. Delivery was fast and efficient and the sapling was in great condition. This has now been planted. I can't wait to see it grow. Highly recommended as proceeds go to help the charity.

We ordered our Christmas cards online on November 30th. It's now December 15th and we're still waiting. Other charity websites flagged up delays in despatch times before the Checkout, which seems a more honest approach - not afterwards. And the website continues to offer its Christmas cards for sale, even now, despite the obvious problems with order fulfilment.

UPDATE 20/3/2021Three months today since I placed my order and still no update. 3 months today since they took money from my account.Same old message, we have been the victim of a cyber scam - really?? Can it actually take 3 months to resolve? FURTHER UPDATE 22/1/2021Finally had a response to say that they were still having technical issues (???) and that I can either wait for my dedications or request a refund. However, if I do the latter it will be delayed due to them having technical issues. So I am in a loop whichever way I choose to go. It will be next Christmas at this rate before my son receives his gift!UPDATE 11/1/21Got through for the second time on the phone. I was asked to go through all my details again. When I refused and said I had already done this, I was advised that they were only an answering service for the Trust and were not employed by them. They are just taking messages and passing them on. I asked if they knew what the issue was but they didnt know.It is so frustrating. I have been really unlucky with my choice of companies for Christmas gifts this year!Just tell us what the issue is. Funny that you can take money without IT systems isnt it.I ordered a Christmas gift on 15th Dec. This was for two tree dedications and a pack was to be sent to the recipient with a certificate and map etc. When I ordered the website said 3-5 days for delivery. It is now 9th January and I have had no update. I have emailed twice, called and given full information of my order and advised someone would get back to me. Nothing. I have messaged, put a post on their FB page and tweeted them. I get that things are hard for businesses and all I ask for is transparency. My order number is 239415. I would very much appreciate an update.

I ordered gift membership for my son on November 22nd. he has still not received anything from them. They fail to answer emails and don't answer the telephone. Indeed the telephone rings, the call is answered by music - no 'Hello thanks for calling the Woodland Trust' just music, Clannad if I'm right. Is this a scam?

I have been trying to get through to the Woodland Trust to notify them of a bereavement and to cancel a subscription. The people who answer the phones are an answering service for a number of charities, they take your details and apparently pass them on for the Woodland Trust to respond to, the last person I spoke to there today claimed they had been extremely busy with WT enquiries so couldn't say when I might get a call back. I was initially promised a response within 24-48 hours but it has been 2 weeks since the first of my 5 calls to them and an email has not been answered. The Woodland Trust website is a little troubling, it claims to have 'technical difficulties' and cannot respond by email or phone, it is unclear when this occurred or how long it will go on but all shop, dedications, memberships, Will gifts etc are not being processed. It is unfortunate that the Woodland Trust has not updated their website with any current information and have left the staff on the answering service to deal with annoyed callers without being able to offer any answers to Woodland Trust members or customers. The website has a section named Supporter Promise - 'Our Promise To You' and states 'you can expect honesty and transparency from us'. Let's hope the disruption to the service is resolved soon.

I have been trying to make a donation since January. The 'phone team keep transfering me to numbers that they apparently know will not be answered. For at least since the middle of January their contact promises have proven not to be trustworthy. For a major charity, at a time when many charities are complaining of diminished income, I find it irritating and concerning that this charity apparently does not want donations. Approach with caution!
