Herdeira da antiga Colónia Balnear Infantil de "O Século", a Fundação "O Século", noventa anos depois, continua a realizar a Colónia de Férias. Mas, atualmente, a atividade social da Instituição é muito mais ampla e abrangente e, diariamente, apoia cerca de 600 pessoas, entre crianças, famílias e idosos. Para além, das Casas de Acolhimento, a FOS tem ainda três Apartamentos de Autonomização, onde vivem 10 jovens; uma creche e pré-escolar com capacidade para 85 crianças; um CAFAP - Centro de Apoio à Família …
